Caspian came to Ravens Flight as a rescue and quickly revealed the quiet power of trust, healing, and second chances. After gaining confidence, he went on to excel in 4-H competition with an impressive winning record.

In 2022, Caspian retired from the show world to begin his most meaningful role yet—as a therapy partner helping others heal through equine-assisted connection.

Today, his gentle presence brings comfort, joy, and connection to veterans, seniors, and individuals seeking hope and emotional wellness. For many, Caspian is more than a miniature horse—he is often a bridge to memory, trust, and healing.

 During one senior outreach visit, a resident softly said, “I had a pony just like him,” before smiling and asking if she could ride him.

Mac is Ravens Flight’s gentle giant—a calm, steady presence whose quiet strength helps people feel safe the moment they meet him.

Standing 16.5 hands, Mac is powerful yet unassuming, with a stoic and reassuring nature that often helps even the most nervous person forget their fears. Whether someone simply wants to stand beside him and feel his calm presence, stroke his neck, or rebuild confidence in the saddle, Mac has a remarkable way of taking care of those who trust him.

Hand-raised and experienced through years of 4-H, Mac understands both work and relaxation. Like Caspian, he seems to know when he is being asked to support someone—and he meets that role with patience, steadiness, and heart.

Through Ravens Flight, Mac serves as a powerful partner in building confidence, trust, and connection.

 For many, Mac doesn’t just carry riders—he carries courage. 

Appaloosa Mare | Nurturer | Comfort Companion

Chloe is a gentle and loving Appaloosa mare whose quiet kindness is felt by everyone she meets. With the same nurturing spirit she shows her foals, Chloe has a special way of offering comfort, softness, and connection to people.

Raised with a ranch horse’s work ethic, Chloe is no stranger to hard work, but her favorite place is standing beside someone, enjoying gentle hands on her face and shoulders and simply being present.

She seems to sense when someone is sad or carrying heavy emotions and has an extraordinary way of offering comfort in those moments. Whether leaning in for a hug around her neck or giving one of her gentle “kisses” with her nose, Chloe often creates moments of calm, affection, and reassurance.

Through Ravens Flight, Chloe brings the healing power of nurture, presence, and unconditional connection.

Appaloosa Filly | Joy Maker | Curious Companion

Born in 2022, Zeppelin is the playful spirit of the Ravens Flight herd. Curious, affectionate, and full of personality, she is often the first to greet visitors with a nicker and an eager hello.

Zeppelin loves exploring the world—especially zippers, stuffed animals, and anything she can turn into a game. Give her a toy and she may proudly carry it off, keeping everyone entertained with her humor and spirited charm.

Though still too young to ride, Zeppelin thrives in groundwork and enjoys engaging with people in her own thoughtful, inquisitive way. She seems to welcome everyone without hesitation and has a remarkable openness that makes people feel immediately accepted.

She also loves conversation and will happily listen to anyone willing to talk with her, often responding in her own way with soft nickers and curious attention.

Through Ravens Flight, Zeppelin brings play, joy, curiosity, and lightness—reminding us that healing can include laughter too.

Born in 2025, Fergie is the youngest member of the Ravens Flight herd and already carries an important lesson: trust is something built gently, and it goes both ways.

Young, curious, and thoughtful, Fergie invites people to slow down, soften, and approach with patience. Because she asks people to earn her trust, she naturally teaches the value of respect, consistency, and gentle presence.

Once that trust is formed, Fergie reveals her loyal and affectionate nature. Like her big sister Zeppelin, she is full of curiosity and loves exploring the world, but she also reminds people that meaningful connection begins with safety and understanding.

Through groundwork and quiet interaction, Fergie helps illustrate one of the deepest lessons horses can offer—that trust is mutual, and healing often begins there.
